The engineering departments were evacuated over the summer holidays and we installed a new mezzanine floor to form practical working space over two floors within the department. The installation was a steel structure with fit out offices underneath on the ground floor and open planned working space above. The M&E existing on site was adapted and extended to suit the new learning spaces.
